I still don't have a computer or internet, but after Christmas break, I'll be using the library at school and I am going to be writing about the events of the past year. I need to. Keeping this inside is too poisonous.
In the interest of protecting my family and my heart from the venom-filled haters, I will be making the posts private.
Blogger doesn't allow you to do this with certain posts; you can only make the entire blog private. So, if you're interested, please leave a comment with your email address or email me at crystaldawnmckee@gmail.com and tell me about yourself and why you want in. I'm sorry to be so picky but I just don't want to give access to anyone who could potentially use it to hurt me or my family...
thanks.

I was an avid reader of your blog before you stopped writing. I have missed you and your stories. I would love to read more Finley chapters.
I am so glad to see that you've resumed writing. Hopefully I will knock the dust off of my blog and get back with the program, too.
I'm a curious person. I love Dr. Pepper. I started reading your blog right before you stopped, which was really annoying. You totally owe me! I only got like three drama filled posts! :D
Also, I have no interest in causing drama, just READING drama. Those who can't do, read. Something like that.
I've followed you for a ages, I understand you don't want everyone in, but I'd love the secret handshake. Hang in there either way.
Hi Crystal! Been a reader for ages...love your writing style, sense of humor, appreciation for the absurd, and your willingness to share life's ups and downs with everyone. I remember the awful people from before who attacked you without provocation, and totally understand why you'd want to lock things down - I hope you'll consider letting me tag along!
Ditto your other commenters, I've been a reader for a long time and would like to continue hearing what you have to say.
I'm Laura A Granato AT Yahoo dot com. Obv the name part is all one word :)
I've e-mailed you. I've been with you for a l-o-n-g time, and hope to continue to read your blog!
I've been reading you since the crazy chronicles. I started reading because you made me laugh out loud, and I almost never laugh. I could go months without laughing, and you brought me sunshine. I kept reading because I started to care about this amazing woman. Maybe I'm just a voyeur, but I've never made a negative comment, and I really miss your posts.
just realized i didn't leave my addy - librarysarah at gmail
Long-time reader, don't believe in drama. I've LOL'd (actually laughed out loud) at some of your stories, waited with anticipa..........tion for installments of 'Finley,' and been moved to tears by some of your more personal trials and tribulations. Please let me come along for your new adventures.

I've been reading for what feels like forever. I love your view of Memphis, my former hometown, and your other off-center thoughts. They make me feel normal! ;-)

Been a reader for ages and ages and have missed you. Your "voice" on what happens in real life and Finley - miss all of it.

I've been a reader for quite a long time. I've never been much of a commenter but I've always enjoyed your writing. I understand your need for privacy, but I'd love to be able to continue reading.

I've been with you for quite a number of years. I feel like I know you, and when you went AWOL, I kind of felt like I lost a friend. Screw the haters and opportunists. I wanna hear from you again. princessofthemoon@hotmail.com
I've followed you for quite a while and would like to know how everything is going.

I've been following you ever since being sent the link to your post about the finger cots all over everything your son touched. *grin*
My address will arrive via separate e-mail....
Been reading for awhile and I miss your writing and would like to keep reading! Sarahsidle at gmail.com.
I have so missed your writing! I found you with the crazy chronicles and was hooked! I miss Finley. I miss the Harmony stories. I miss your writing.
I so understand that poison of keeping it locked up tight. I'm a journal keeper myself. I journaled some very interesting parts of my divorce and rediscovery of myself over the past year. Getting it out of my head and onto paper was my way of processing the pain, hurt, betrayal and loss.
beckiel at hotmail dot com
You had me hooked with the story about breaking your vagina. And since I've met you in person, so it's sort of required that I get the secret handshake! ;-)
I'll email the addy.
Crystal,
You are one-of-a-kind! You have a talent unsurpassed by most, envied by many and admired by all!
It's a gift for us to experience this with and through you.
Stay strong and focused and you will achieve all you set out to do.
Crystal, I don't know how I found you but I hope I never lose you.

I also love Dr.pepper, and boobs, so I think I qualify ;) my email is either Vampiressjt@yahoo.com, or Vampiressjt@gmail.com >.> Shush i made it when I was like 14 ( i'm 30 now lol and lazy)

I've been reading your blog for years and feel like you're a friend - mostly because you are so *real*. Not a super posh got-her-shit-so-together-it-shames-me mommyblogger, but somebody who I can relate to. I root for you so hard! I hope you share the secret handshake with me. If you don't, I understand, but I hope things work out for you. *hug*
Yours was one of the first blogs I ever read. I can relate to so much of what you're saying and you would constantly make me laugh until I had tears running down my checks. I've never commented (I usually read blogs on my phone, while trying to wrangle two little kids, so I don't comment as much as I should), but would love to continue reading.
I know it's hard to put yourself out there, but I just want to applaud you for taking that risk. Your words helped me through some pretty dark times so even I never read another word you've written, you have already given me so much.

I've been a reader since the crazy chronicles days, and your witty and honest writing always brightened up my day and gave me more than a few laughs. I love your attitude toward life: even when terrible things happened, you were able to recount them with humor and grace. I've really missed your posts, and I would love to keep reading.
I wish all the best to you and your family!

Hi! I have been reading your blog for years, don't know you in real life, but feel like I know you through your blog. I love your honesty, even in admitting defeat. I blog about my life as a mom of a little girl who had a liver transplant as a baby, which means it is not always peachy. I think that's why I have always liked your writing - the honesty about the not so peachy parts of life, and finding humor in those times. Email is frommagerkstoidos@gmail.com
I'm a long-time reader who misses your wit and honesty in dealing with life's mishaps. I would love to be able to keep reading. :)

I've been reading your blog for a long time (though I've been a lurker, and only recently got a blog of my own). I've loved reading about your life and adventures over the years and I would really enjoy being able to continue reading. You can check out my blog too if you'd like to get to know me better before letting me in on the new blog. I've really missed reading your blog posts for the last little while!

I used to blog myself, but life kind of got in the way. I miss it, however, and I still follow lots of blogs that I discovered along the way. Yours has stayed in my feed reader all along because you're a talented writer, and I hoped you'd start blogging again. I hope you'll add me: unrulyduckling at gmail dot com.
Hi there, I've been reading a long time since I followed a link here from another blog and love your writing and your story you were working on.

Hi,
I'd love to keep hearing your story. I've been a long time reader.

Thanks,

I've subscribed to your blog for ages and was surprised and happy to see something new pop up in my reader. I totally understand if you don't want internet strangers intruding on your family life. I'm sad for you that you have to consider people using your words against you.

I used to read your blog regularly because I enjoy your writing. My email is cspdavis1965 at yahoo dot com. I promise I'm not a hater, I'm an encourager.
I have been a reader for so many years... the "Dr Pepper" in the name literally compelled me to click on a random link on a random long forgotten blog. Former biiiig addict here, heh. Anyhoo...I've never commented so you don't know me, but I would really like to continue reading if you would allow me :) myjupiterstar@gmail.com
Excited to hear you are coming back to blogging. Long time reader.

i've been reading you for years and have really missed your brilliantly funny outlook on life. additionally, your low points, as sad as they were, helped me get through my rough times, as well. you've been a beacon in the dark whether you've known it or not... :) finally, i was enthralled by Finley and i really want to know what happens next...!

I've been a reader of your blog for longer than I can remember. Many bloggers have stopped posting and I removed them from my reader, but not you. It's been nice to see updates when they've come through. I've laughed and cried with your stories, and would love to know what else you have to share.
I have no interest in drama (I avoid that as much as possible) and no desire to see anyone hurt, especially someone that has made me laugh like you have. I'll understand if I'm not let in, but I'd love to be included.
Hi Crystal,
I'd very much like to keep reading your blog if you go private =)
2012 hasn't exactly been a banner year for me, either, but I always find hope and humor in your writing.
You have an incredible talent and a beautiful soul, I hope you'll allow me access to your blog when you go private =)
Cheers all the way from Australia,
Snappz (rach66ster (@) gmail.com )
Hi Crystal, I've read for a long, long time, but I'm not sure I've ever commented (I'm sorry!). I would like to keep reading and to hear about your life — I've always appreciated your writing, especially about mental illnesses. You are an incredible writer.

Hey there. I stumbled across your blog several years ago and really enjoyed your humorous voice and the way you tell a good story (not to mention some of the best pranks I've ever heard of... "finger cots" anyone? I'm sorry to hear that life has been so rough lately and hope to hear more about how you turn it around.
You are destined for great things with your writing and if there is anyway I can help, just let me know.

Glad you're coming back!
Crystal,
Like most others, I've followed you for quite a while and missed you when you stopped blogging. I am elated to find you're posting again. Please include me when your blog goes private. I want to be in your blogger life!
Thanks so much for sharing your life with us!

Crystal, I dont comment often, but have been following...well, it seems like forever. Your posts are chaotic, heartfelt and poignant, which is what makes your page worth following. Life is not all hearts and flowers. While you definitely have some drama, your blog is very real and I thank you for sharing.

I have been reading for years, although I doubt I've ever commented (I never comment. I never think what I have to say is all that important). I've been worring about you since you've been gone (and more so with your post in October). I know it sounds weird, but I just want to know that you're okay.

I've been reading you since, 2005?. That sounds about right. Before Harmony was born. I pray for you and your family. I'm glad you're blogging again. smilacek@Hotmail.com
Hi Crystal. I've been reading your blog for almost as long as you've been writing. I'm glad to hear you're going to blog again; it is a catharsis for most writers.
I was heartbroken to hear of your divorce from Chris which I read about on your Facebook page. You and Chris and the kids have remained in my prayers ever since. Healing will coming.
I grew up and still live in Plano, and wrote you about that once. Big fan down here in Texas who only wishes and prays for the very best for you and yours. None of us are perfect, and there are no stones to be cast.
Blessings to you,

I've been reading for years, and have been rooting for you the whole way. I've been wondering what has happened, and while it sounds like mere voyeurism is my reason for wanting "in," I've missed reading your writing. Whether good or bad news...whether it had to do directly with you or not...I always enjoyed reading what you had to say, here, and I very much want to learn what it was that silenced you for so long...and I want to see you be UN-silenced.
All my best...
I've been reading your blog for years. I enjoyed the crazy chronicals and I really enjoyed when you started writing about Finley. I've always enjoyed your writing style. my email should you like to include me is jtgartside@gmail.com

I was reading your blog for a while before you stopped writing. Some of what you have gone through is truly incredible and for you to be willing to share that is also incredible to me. I too have much drama in my life and want to be able to lend a shoulder if need be. You have been through so much yet you continue to pick yourself back up and continue on, if not for you, but for your kids and to me that is one of the most selfless things you could do.
Hi there! You don't know me from Adam, but I've been reading your blog for years and I'd love to continue reading if that's okay. You have a way with words and you're one damned funny lady. My email is danikeller@comcast.net. Take care and I hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas!
I'm another person you don't know at all - though I've been reading your blog for a really long time.
It'd be nice to catch up and see what's going on in your world, but no drama here. I won't even be offended if you say no. :)

Hey crystal! 1) Im glad your writing again! I was a reader before you took a break (a much needed one it looks like) and I did post comments. I like how unihibited you are and honest. Drama Llama does not reside here so I hope I can continue reading but understand if you say no.

Miss reading your blog and hope things get better for you.

I have been reading your blog for so long I can't remember the time. It has been years. I cleared my blog list and got rid of a lot of bloggers who have quit posting or had large gaps, but I kept yours. All the sunshine and roses blogs are not for me either, but yours has always been the real deal. Thanks for letting us take the journey with you. If I can be included on your private blog my e-mail is dbdraper09@yahoo.com
Sorry, I am not anonymous. Dorothy
I don't remember how I found your blog, but I instantly became a fan of your writing style and humor. I read all your posts from day one up to the current one and have continued to subscribe to the RSS feed, even with posts as few and far between as they have. I would enjoy continuing to read your tales and do wish you all the best. james-at-enloe.me

Hi, Crystal. Been reading for years, and I'd love to continue, now that you are back. I have been away for a bit myself so I am a bit out of the loop on why the previous blog is taken down, but I'd love to start reading again. J.

I've been following you for EVER, since Crazy Chronicles! Your a great writer and I LOVE Finley. I bookmarked your blog and check in on it/you regularly. I'd love to be able to keep reading about you & Finley. rudd.mason@gmail.com
I've been reading your blog for years. I was really surprised when it popped up in my reader. Pleasantly surprised. I love your writing. You are open and honest and it's refreshing. I don't blog anymore myself. Not sure why. I guess I just let life get in the way. However, I do still read several. I would love to continue reading this one but would totally understand if you chose not to add me. I've commented a handful of times but, I know it's been a very long time. swtgirl0825 at gmail

I have been reading your blog for a while now. I would really like to be able to still read it. My name is Mary Kate and I wish you all the best, especially peace of mind.
I've been reading your blog since '07. I've laughed with you, cried with you and prayed for you. I'd love to keep reading and following you if you'll allow me to - no judgements and certainly nothing but positive comments. :) wbburnett@bellsouth.net
I understand not wanting the world to be able to read it, but I'd love to be allowed. I was a strong (lurker) follower before, checking your blog daily. I'm so happy to see that you're writing again.
I have subscribed to your blog for quite a while, and have been curious/concerned about how you have been doing while you haven't been posting. It has been a relief to hear from you again. I feel a little weird asking to be given the handshake since I don't know you in real life, but I promise I am rooting for you, not against you. lydia@prof-lacroix.com
